An exceptional development of just 9 new homes converted from Grade II listed barns of ‘distinct architectural quality’.
Churston Court Farm was purchased for renovation by Dart Developments in 2012. The project was to convert the extensive barns into 9 residential units and refurbish the original 8 bedroom farmhouse.
Here you will find a selection of before and after photographs taken between 2013 (when work commenced) and 2016 as we reached completion of the site.
Having worked closely with historians, conservationists and ecologists, we sympathetically preserved the original fabric and character of these impressive old buildings, whilst fulfilling the needs and expectations of the highest of modern living standards.
In an interesting and harmonious contrast with the mid-19th century externals, stylish and luxurious fittings with sleek, contemporary design have been applied to the internal specifications.

Wherever possible, fabulously preserved roof trusses and other original internal features are retained to create a stylish fusion of traditional and contemporary.
The constant at Churston Court Farm is the impressive craftsmanship and attention to detailed applied throughout.
Outside, this well planned and superbly landscaped development provides varying sized gardens for every property, along with private open-fronted garages, and ample parking for both residents and visitors.
